Pablo Zarate

Welcome to my website! I'm currently in my 5th year as a PhD candidate in Economics at CDSE Mannheim. I am also a Researcher at ZEW. My research focuses on empirical microeconomics.

I'm interested in labor markets and how different institutions, like unions and firm diversity commitments, impact them.

I am on the 2026–2027 academic job market. My job market paper studies the labor market consequences of corporate diversity pledges.

I'm advised by Nicolas R. Ziebarth.
